Vice President
My name is Jozette Osei, and I currently serve as the Vice President of the UPSA Law Students’ Union. I am a committed Christian, an attentive listener, and naturally warm and approachable.
Organizing Secretary
I am goal driven and passionate about my endeavours. I value integrity, responsibility, trust and reliance.
General Secretary
I am an industrious L300 student. I am very passionate about making a difference and leaving footprints wherever I go and it has led to me taking on the role of General Secretary of the UPSA law school.
Treasurer
My name is Prosper Yendeeba Namm-oni, a level 300 student of UPSA. I am deeply committed to contributing meaningfully to the growth and success of our union by ensuring transparency, accountability, and innovation in our financial affairs. Beyond my professional responsibilities, I have a deep passion for community engagement and an interest in student affairs.
L.S.U Patron
Albert Quashigah is the Patron of the UPSA Law Students’ Union, where he actively supports and participates in student-led initiatives. He is a Senior Associate at Sustineri Attorneys PRUC – Corporate Lawyers & Consultants. Mr Quarshigah holds a law degree from George Washington University Law School. His commitment to student development continues to impact the union positively.
(Makola Aid Initiative and Resit Success Initiative)
The Makola Aid Initiative aims to prepare UPSA law students for the Makola entrance exam. The alumni serve as tutors who help in preparing the students for the Makola entrance exam. This program will be completely free, as it is designed to be highly effective to help increase the success rate for entry into Makola.
The Resit Success initiative is designed to support students who are retaking a course. There will be peer-to-peer tutoring sessions carefully scheduled to help a resit student find their feet. Along with academic support, emotional support will be offered through the UPSA Counseling Unit to help resit students stay motivated and manage stress during their journey. All information will remain confidential for those enrolled in the program as the means of signing up is through a Google form.
Enroll in Resit SuccessThe Mooting Society is dedicated to developing students’ advocacy, legal research, and oral presentation skills through simulated court proceedings. The Society organizes various activities, including workshops and the prestigious Inter-firm Moot Competition, where students compete in firms, simulating real-world legal practice. There are currently five firms you can join on campus which are Sikafuturo, Eyison Dei Amoah & Associates, Keelson Dzeketey & Associates, Arthur Brown & Associates, and Afari Asamoah & Associates.

Juris & Jots is designed to equip students with essential writing skills while blending legal precision with creative expression. Writing is at the core of legal education and practice, and this initiative will provide students with structured training in legal research, advocacy writing, and opinion drafting in collaboration with publication platforms such as the Law Platform and Dennislaw coupled with the participation in both internal and international legal writing competitions.
